The new Ilunion headquarters, designed by Ruiz Barbarin Architects have brought new life to this building, located on the M30 in Madrid.
The tower has been reborn with a new personality and size that revolves around the user’s comfort and which comes to life every night, shining and luminous, thanks to the use of its two cladding systems with a backlight effect.
The façade, carried out by Martifer, is composed of two cladding-layers: the first is an external wall insulation -EWI- in vibrant colours which performs as insulation. This is combined with a second ImarNatural® multiperforated skin designed with the parameterisation of sun-path in mind.
Bespoke design
From the point of view of energy savings, different heights and orientations require customised solutions. Therefore, we looked for a uniform-based perforation that would serve as a sunshade and allows a transparent effect from the interior. In addition, a second process was applied adding perforations of different sizes to increase the open area of each panel according to its location.
A personalised design that effectively responds to the environmental requirements defined in the project.
